National Leaders of Education (NLE)
National Leaders of Education (NLEs) are outstanding Headteachers or principals who, together with the staff in their schools (designated National Support Schools (NSS)), use their skills and experience to support schools in challenging circumstances. In addition to leading their own schools, NLEs work to increase the leadership capacity of other schools to help raise standards.
Further information about NLEs, and the support they offer, can be found here.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of the role of Specialist Leaders of Education or to discuss how a Specilaist Leader can assist in your school, please contact Jane Douglass (NLE) Headteacher, Castleton and Glaisdale Schools, Jane can be contacted by clicking this link.
